About the role
FinanSys are a 25 year established software company selling, implementing and supporting SunSystems accounting software as well as Oracle NetSuite ERP.
Using our 25 years of established experience implementing these solutions to enterprise organisations, we have developed a unique software as a service solution that will provide businesses with significant finance, accounting and business automation.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our existing sales and marketing team. Our new development is going to be a very high growth product and we would like the successful candidate to have experience of the financial software and ERP marketplace.
Role Responsibilities
- Achieve their annual target through new business and upsell
- Align customer requirements with our solution portfolio
- Successfully conduct and manage the sales process from prospect to customer
- Build positive relationships with existing and potential clients for upsell opportunities
- Ensure performance related data is accurately recorded to help with optimisation and growth
- Be able to generate new business opportunities from self generated lead sources
About the candidate
Essential Skills
- 3+ years experience with ERP and financial software systems
- B2B, Accounts/Finance and Business Development experience
- Proven ability to negotiate. Experience working to and exceeding targets
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- High-level communication skills. The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
- Understanding of finance and accounting to communicate effectively with the office of the CFO
