Infor’s latest update to SunSystems Cloud, the 2026.04 release, is now live, bringing a new set of enhancements that continues to build on the strong existing foundations. If you’re a SunSystems Cloud customer, here’s a practical rundown of what’s changed and what it means for your finance team.
What’s New in the April 2026 Release
Q&A Report Scheduler Improvements
Reporting gets a meaningful upgrade in this release. The Query & Analysis Report Scheduler now ensures reports always run against the latest available data, even for large or complex report sets.
Alongside that, reports can now be delivered in PDF and Excel formats (including macro-enabled files). PDFs are a useful addition for audit purposes or for distributing reports to senior stakeholders.
Accounts Payable Dashboard Widgets
October 2025 introduced the first wave of SunSystems dashboard widgets (Aged Payables and Top Suppliers). The April 2026 release continues that rollout with a strong focus on Accounts Payable. Four new widgets are now available:
- Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) — shows how long your organisation takes to pay suppliers, helping finance teams monitor cash flow trends over time.
- Average Invoice Processing Time — tracks how long invoices take to move from receipt through to payment, making bottlenecks easier to spot.
- Invoice Status Tracker — provides a live view of approved versus unapproved invoices, which helps reduce late payments and supplier queries.
- To Be Invoiced Purchase Order Lines — a period-end control that surfaces outstanding PO liabilities early, supporting more accurate accruals.
Taken together, these widgets give AP teams a much clearer picture of where things stand at any given moment.
Form Designer Enhancements
The web-based Form Designer has been updated with a snap-to-grid feature that makes it easier to align fields and adjust layouts directly in the browser.
API Improvements and Integration
API coverage has been expanded and connection with external systems improved, with the goal of reducing manual interfaces and making SunSystems easier to connect to third-party applications and data sources.
Built-In E-Invoicing for Compliance
Quite an exciting update: SunSystems Cloud now includes native e-invoicing, with support for compliance frameworks such as PEPPOL. This removes the need for additional third-party tools. For UK organisations, this is worth noting: e-invoicing is set to become mandatory from 2029, so having a built-in solution in place now is a great step forward.
Expanded Language Support
The April 2026 release adds language support for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (Traditional Chinese), bringing the total number of supported languages in SunSystems Cloud to nine.
What’s Coming Next
Beyond this release itself, there are signals worth paying attention to. We believe the next update will bring some exciting features. Watch this space.
